Necklace Making Workshops

‘Eka’r (regalia necklace) Making Workshops will soon be starting at Resighini Rancheria at the Lena Reed McCovey Community Center.

Participants will be socially distanced and must wear masks.

The Workshops will run four Saturdays in a a row, and participants must attend each workshop.

Participants who complete all four Workshops will leave with their own regalia necklace.

Please be advised that a mussel tissue sample that the Pulikla Tribe of Yurok People’s Natural Resources staff collected on June 27th contains dangerous, and potentially lethal, levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP) toxins, and Citizens should take care to not harvest and consume raw or cooked mussels and other bivalve shellfish in Del Norte and Humboldt Counties until further notice.
